Dr. Donnchadh O Morain BDS NUI, MFDS (RCS Edin), MSc (Leeds) MOrth (RCS Edin)
Dr. Donnchadh O Morain, is a registered specialist orthodontist with the Dental Council of Ireland (Reg. No. 6-DS-16). With over a decade of experience, Dr. O Morain provides expert care in both traditional braces and clear aligners, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results with the latest techniques in orthodontic treatment.
After graduating with honors in dentistry from University College Cork in 2007, Dr. O Morain gained broad clinical experience in the UK across general practice, oral surgery, pediatric, and restorative dentistry. In 2014, he completed a specialist orthodontic training program in Leeds, earning a Master’s with distinction and membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He further pursued two years of advanced specialist training, attaining the FACE certification in 2019.
Dr. O Morain is known for his gentle approach, earning him an excellent reputation among patients and colleagues. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife and three daughters and is passionate about Gaelic football, running, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. His love for travel has led him to volunteer as a dentist in Peru and Uganda.
Chelsea Carroll– Practice Manager
Chelsea is our dedicated practice manager and a key part of the team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. With a background in dental nursing and a warm, approachable manner, she helps create a welcoming environment for both patients and staff.
Phillipa Cox – Dental Nurse
Pippa has over 15 years of experience as a dental nurse and brings great skill and energy to the team. Known for her sense of humour and down-to-earth approach, she helps make patients feel relaxed and at ease during their visits.
